Recipe for making Aloo Jeera: Aloo Jeera is considered a very popular and easy dish in Indian kitchen. According to Vandana Sharma, home science spokesperson of JIC Gudha, Rae Bareli, to make Aloo Jeera, boiled potatoes, cumin, green chilli, ginger, turmeric, coriander powder, red chilli, salt and oil are required. Heat oil in a pan and fry cumin seeds, green chillies and ginger, then add dry spices and add boiled chopped potatoes and cook on low flame. Sprinkle green coriander on top and serve. This dish goes well with roti, paratha, puri or dal-rice and is also a great option for tiffin.
