Jharkhand Today’s Weather: Severe cold has knocked in Jharkhand. Dense fog and icy winds are blowing in Ranchi, Khunti, Lohardaga, Latehar. The visibility here has reduced to less than 50 metres. The minimum temperature of Ranchi has reached 6.3 degrees. Ranchi Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert.
Ranchi: Dense fog has hit Jharkhand’s capital Ranchi and some other districts like Khunti, Lohardaga, Latehar. Visibility in these districts is reduced to only 50 meters. Exactly similar situation will continue here for the next five days. During this period the winds will also blow icy. If you go out without a hat, your mind will become completely numb within 2 minutes. Ranchi Meteorological Department has issued an alert of severe cold in these districts.
Coldest in Ranchi
Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand, is currently experiencing the maximum cold. For the last 4-5 days, the lowest minimum temperature being recorded in Ranchi is 5 to 6 degrees. Even in the last 24 hours, 6.3 degrees have been recorded here. The temperature is not very low, but because of the icy wind which is coming especially due to western disturbance. Due to this, people are finding it difficult to even leave their homes.
