After the Nitish government gave an amount of Rs 10,000 each under the Chief Minister Women Employment Scheme in Bihar, there is a race among women from cities to villages to join the Jeevika group. Everyone wants to join this scheme by becoming Jeevika Didi and wants the financial assistance provided by the government.
The focus of the government behind starting the Chief Minister Mahila Rozgar Yojana has been to ensure that women from all the families of the state can start employment of their choice and through this they will become financially empowered. For this, he gave Rs 10,000 in the account in October and after six months, after the progress is found satisfactory, the remaining Rs 2 lakh will also be given to these women. But many people of Bihar are also getting scammer calls related to this scheme.
The person shared the video of the scammer
Recently a person has given information about this by sharing a video on YouTube. He has shown in the video how a scammer calls him and asks him to give the OTP. As soon as the video starts, he says – “See, the livelihood money has not come, but the calls of thieves and robbers of Rs 10,000 have started coming. Just now we had called, so we disconnected it. Now see, he is calling again and saying that if you do not verify, even your Rs 2,00,00 will not come. Look, let us show you what he is saying. When the person disconnects the phone, he gets a call again, and he says that if If you do not give the OTP, you will not get the amount of Rs 10,000 that has been given by the government. In such a situation, the person says that if you do not verify the OTP, then you will not be able to get the money from the government.
Do you want Rs 2 lakh?
After this the scammer says – “If you are satisfied with Rs 10,000 then no one.. but do you want Rs 2 lakh? Then the person says, yes. Then the scammer says that for the Rs 2 lakh that the government will give you, you will have to do KYC verification which you will have to do for the livelihood scheme otherwise you will not get Rs 2 lakh. Then the person says that if I tell you the OTP then even Rs 10,000 will not be missing from my account. It will happen, right? So the scammer says – “No, no… We are government employees, how can we withdraw money from your account.” In such a situation, the person says – “The government says that OTP should not be told to anyone and you are asking for OTP.” The scammer says- “Hey, this is Jeevika OTP. So that your verification is done and you will get Rs 2 lakh, which is required for the business.”
The person asks – “How many people have you verified so far?” Then the scammer says that many people are engaged for this work and many people have been verified so far. The person says, “It means he is fooling us too.” The scammer says – “We are not fooling anyone.” Then this person says – “You people fool the poor and those on livelihood schemes and loot their money just by knowing the OTP. We will make a video of you and show it to the police. The government did not send the money that you people started looting the money.”
The scammer says- “Don’t be too oversmart otherwise we will close the account.” The person says – “How can you dacoits call and close the account? You have no authority. Then that scammer disconnects the call. After this the person says that you people should always be cautious if such calls come because the government does not ask for OTP by making such calls. So be alert so that no one can rob you.” Let us tell you that many times the state and central governments keep making people aware about such matters so that people do not fall prey to these scammers and their money remains safe.
