New Delhi. ICICI Prudential AMC opened today. Investors can invest money in this issue till 16 December. The company has set a target of raising a total of ₹ 10,602.65 crore through this public issue. ICICI Prudential IPO was subscribed 0.72 times on the first day. The public issue has received subscription of 0.21 times in retail category, 1.97 times in QIB and 0.37 times in NII category. This IPO is completely offer for sale. This means that the amount raised from ICICI Prudential AMC IPO will not go to the company’s balance sheet, but will go directly to the promoters who are selling their stake through this public offer. Shares of ICICI Prudential AMC are trading at a 7 percent premium in the gray market.
Its current joint venture partner, British company Prudential Corporation Holdings, is selling its 4.89 crore shares. Before the opening of the IPO, the company had raised Rs 3,022 crore from 149 anchor investors. Insurance companies also participated in the pre-IPO round. SBI Life, HDFC Life, Kotak Life Insurance, Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance, Bajaj Life Insurance etc. participated in it. ICICI Prudential AMC has 13.3% share in the asset management market.
ICICI Prudential IPO Price Band
The price band of ICICI Prudential IPO is ₹2061-₹2165. For this IPO, retail investors can apply for minimum one lot i.e. 6 shares. If you apply for 1 lot as per the upper price band of IPO at ₹2,165, you will have to invest ₹12,990. Retail investors can bid for a maximum of 15 lots i.e. 90 shares, for which they will have to invest Rs 1,94,850.
35% share reserved for retail investors
50% of ICICI Prudential IPO is reserved for Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIB). 35% share is reserved for retail investors and 15% share is reserved for non-institutional investors (NII).

There is good demand for unlisted shares of ICICI Prudential IPO in the gray market. According to IPOwatch.in, a gray market tracking website, today the shares in the issue are trading at a premium of Rs 155. That means IPO investors are likely to get 7.15 percent listing gain.

ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company was started in 1993. The company offers a total of 143 investment schemes. It has assets under management (AUM) worth Rs 10.87 lakh crore. As of September 30, 2025 and March 31, 2025, 2024 and 2023, the market share of its equity-oriented hybrid schemes was 25.8%, the largest in India.
