Patna: In the last few days, due to disturbances in the operations of Indigo Airlines, flight tickets of other airlines have started skyrocketing. The situation is that today the fare from New Delhi to London is around Rs 30 thousand. Whereas yesterday i.e. Sunday it is around 26 thousand. But today SpiceJet Airlines is charging more than Rs 90 thousand as fare from Patna to Mumbai. The situation is the same tomorrow i.e. Sunday also. Not only Mumbai but the flight fare to New Delhi today i.e. on Saturday is between 22 thousand to 25 thousand. On Monday, Air India Express is charging Rs 25 thousand, Spice Jet Rs 26 thousand and Air India is charging more than Rs 30 thousand. Same is the situation with other airlines also. The seats on many flights are completely full. That is why the booking app is showing “No flight found”.
If you want to go from Patna to Mumbai on Saturday i.e. today, you will get three SpiceJet flights. All three will go stopping at Delhi. Its fare ranges from Rs 70,069 to Rs 90,753. Tomorrow i.e. Sunday, the fare for these flights ranges from Rs 64,609 to Rs 90,753. That means about 11 times more than the normal fare.
Today i.e. on 6th December, booking of tickets between Patna and Bengaluru is not happening till the time of writing the news. All the booking apps are showing “No flight found”. Tomorrow i.e. on 07 December, seats are vacant in two Spice Jet flights from Patna. Its fare is Rs 61,790 and Rs 84,994. One will stop at Chennai and the other at Delhi.
Patna to Kolkata fare
Tickets are not being booked on any flight between Patna and Kolkata between 06 and 07 December. The fare on 08 December ranges from Rs 5 thousand to Rs 13 thousand.
Patna to New Delhi fare
Today only three Indigo flights are being booked between Patna and Delhi. Its fare is Rs 22,428. A SpiceJet flight is visible tomorrow i.e. Sunday, whose fare is Rs 41380. There seems to be some relief from Monday. The fare for this day also ranges between 13 thousand to 30 thousand.
One reason for no flight found is that the flights of different airlines have become full. That is why ticket booking has been stopped. At the same time, in many airlines like Air India Airlines, tickets for Delhi and Mumbai are available after three days. Like Friday, on Saturday too, a crowd has gathered in the departure area of Patna Airport to cancel tickets and take refunds, while there is complete silence in the arrival area.
