from your city (Patna)
After the year 2015, this award is being given to a youth of Bihar. Arunesh is currently present in Hubli, Karnataka to participate in this program. Arunesh had a special conversation with Stuffunknown. Read part of this conversation.
who became the inspiration
In 2015, his health deteriorated a lot. At that time, he was having a lot of difficulty in breathing. After this, his father showed him to many big doctors of the city, but there was no significant improvement. Then his father showed him to Padma Shri Dr. CP Thakur. After this Arunesh’s health improved and he often started going to CP Thakur’s clinic. And during this he saw that the doctor helps people without any selfishness. Due to which Arunesh was very impressed and from here came the feeling of serving the society. Arunesh told that he learned from Dr. Saheb that after reaching the heights, one should hold on to one’s humility and roots.
How did this campaign start?
Arunesh is fond of writing poems and used to write on social media. An incident took place in 2015 in which one of his acquaintances was admitted to the Railway Hospital in Karbigahia. At that time those people needed one unit of blood. Although Arunesh was less than 18 years old at that time. Because of this they could not donate. After this he posted this need on Facebook and then after 3 days he came to know that some unknown person has donated blood to a needy person after seeing his Facebook post. After this, Arunesh felt that by making social media a medium, help can be provided to the needy people.
Raised army of social media
Arunesh told that in 2019, he created a handle on Twitter in the name of Blood Seva Parivar and people started connecting with it. Meanwhile, the first wave of Corona came. There was a lockdown in the country. During this, messages from the needy started coming on this handle. Arunesh also helped many well-known personalities through this handle. Arunesh, 24, has donated blood 19 times so far. He said that this honor cannot be dedicated to any one person, because many people are associated with me in this work.
