Medical Superintendent of Patna-based Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences i.e. IGIMS and renowned gastro surgeon Prof. Dr. Manish Mandal has been awarded a very important fellowship in an international conference held in Singapore. This achievement is not only the result of his personal hard work, but also strengthens the reputation of IGIMS at the international level.
Dr. Manish Mandal has been given this honor by the International College of Surgeons. This organization confers the title of Fellow of International College of Surgeons i.e. FICS to selected and excellent surgeons from all over the world. This title is considered very prestigious in the medical world and reflects the international recognition of a doctor.
FICS Fellowship is given only to those doctors who have made a name for themselves in their field through best clinical skills, superior patient-service, consistent academic contribution and research work. Dr. Manish Mandal has fulfilled all these standards on the basis of years of hard work, honesty and dedication. That is why he became worthy of this honour.
