Chandauli Railway News: Delay in trains has started with winter. Although there is no dense fog or heavy mist yet, the wheels of trains have already slowed down. Due to this delay, passengers have to wait for a long time at the station.
DDU Junction: The cold season has arrived. It is becoming extremely cold in the morning and evening. There is also dense fog in the morning. Due to this, trains have also started running late. The delay in trains is not decreasing. Howrah Delhi route trains are reaching DDU Junction (Mughalsarai) late by hours. It is not that only special trains but regular and important trains including Rajdhani are also running late.
Till 8 pm on Monday night, the upbound Danapur-SMVT Bengaluru Special Fare Superfast Express was delayed by 2 hours, Kolkata-Amritsar Akaltakht Express by one hour, Mumbai-Danapur Special Fare Festival Special by one and a half hours, Mumbai Central-Katihar Special Fare by 5 hours and Charlapalli-Buxar Special Express by 1.25 hours. At the same time, Udhna-Barauni AC Superfast Express was delayed by 4 and a half hours, Pune-Supaul Superfast Express by 5 hours, Kolkata-Jammutvi Express by 3 and a half hours.
Downbound trains remained late
On the other hand, Downbound Farakka Express was delayed by one and a half hours, Amritsar-Howrah Punjab Mail by 2 hours, Anand Vihar-Kamakhya Northeast Express by 1.25 hours, Bikaner Howrah Superfast Express by 1.5 hours, Delhi-Gaya Special by 4 hours. Similarly, Hazrat Nizamuddin-Patna AC special fare was delayed by 2 hours, Anand Vihar- Puri Vikali Express by one hour, Puri-Veerangana Laxmibai Jhansi special fare by 9 hours, Jammu Tawi-Kolkata Express by one hour and Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Mumbai-Howrah Mail was delayed by 6 and a half hours.
