Ranchi News: On the viral video of Christmas gathering in Kanke CHC, Dr. Prabhat Kumar talked about investigation and strict rules. Emphasis has been laid on maintaining discipline and dignity in the hospital. This video is said to be from the Christmas gathering held on 19th December. In which doctors and health workers were seen dancing on Bhojpuri, Hindi and Punjabi songs. In the viral video, the hospital in-charge and other employees are also seen dancing.
Ranchi: After a video of Kanke CHC went viral on social media, the credibility of the health department has come under question. This video is said to be from the Christmas gathering held on 19th December. In which doctors and health workers were seen dancing on Bhojpuri, Hindi and Punjabi songs. In the viral video, the hospital in-charge and other employees are also seen dancing. The question arises that how can such a dance party be held in a government hospital which is meant for the treatment of patients. There is also a question on what basis religious events are being organized in the government hospital. Why is obscene material like Bhojpuri being included in such events?
CS said- rules will be made
Ranchi Civil Surgeon Dr. Prabhat Kumar reacted on this matter. He told that when this program was organized. So initially there was no dancing on any Bhojpuri song. But after the viral video came out, it has been taken into cognizance and necessary action will be taken. Dr. Prabhat Kumar said that the entire matter will be investigated. Rules will be made so that such incidents do not happen again in the hospital premises.
…then action will be taken
The Civil Surgeon also clarified that the purpose of religious events in the hospital is to respect all religions. He said that if any peace and community program is organized, it will not be considered bad. But action will be taken if there is dancing on obscene songs. This incident has created a new debate on the functioning and rules of hospitals in the state. Many people have described such a program in the hospital premises as inappropriate on social media. While some called it an attempt to build team and boost the morale of the employees.
Maintaining the dignity of patients and hospital is priority
After the viral video of Kanke CHC, it has become clear that it is extremely important to maintain discipline and professional behavior in the hospital premises. The Health Department has assured that strict instructions and rules will be made to prevent such incidents in future. Dr. Prabhat Kumar finally said that we respect all religions, but maintaining the dignity of patients and the hospital is our priority. Use of inappropriate material will not be tolerated in any such event.
