Bhiwani News: New twist in the case registered against farmer leader Ravi Azad from Haryana in Bhiwani. People of SC community demanded from the administration to ban the Panchayat called by Satgama Khap. Ravi Azad has been accused of molesting a minor and the police have registered a case. In this matter, he has called a Mahapanchayat, which the Dalit community is opposing.
Bhiwani. A Mahapanchayat has been called for Monday in the case registered against farmer leader Ravi Azad of Bhiwani, Haryana. On the other hand, the Dalit community has demanded a ban on the Panchayat of Satgama Khap called on the demand of Ravi Azad. People say that the investigation should be done legally and not by breaking the society by doing Panchayat. Somewhere this matter has now taken an ethnic colour.
In fact, on December 12, a case was registered against farmer leader Ravi Azad under SC ST Act and attempt to kidnap on the complaint of the father of a victimized minor girl from SC community in Bahal police station. But then Ravi Azad himself claimed to be innocent and demanded to call a Mahapanchayat on the platform of Gopalwas village on 15th December. On this demand, Satgama Khap issued a letter to the Panchayat, in which the name of the victim’s father is written. In such a situation, people of Dalit community have demanded from the administration to stop this panchayat, alleging that it is revealing the identity.
Regarding this demand, people of SC community met the SHO of Bahal police station and then the SDM. At both the places, these people demanded a ban on the Panchayat to be held tomorrow on 15th December. Mahendra Singh and Vijay Gurava said that the investigation should be done in a legal manner. Panchayat should not be used to break the society. At the same time, these people also expressed their objection to the allegations being leveled against the victim in social media and demanded an investigation.
Regarding this entire controversy, farmer leader Ravi Azad wrote on Facebook that former minister JP Dalal and his people are spreading rumors regarding the Mahapanchayat. Mahapanchayat will be held under any circumstances, everyone should reach in maximum numbers. He wrote that the way former minister JP Dalal has dragged a Dalit daughter into a political conspiracy is unacceptable and the society will not tolerate it under any circumstances. Once milk turns into milk and water turns into water, then this 36 community will take revenge for the insult of this Dalit daughter from JP Dalal.
What case was registered against Ravi Azad
It should be noted that allegations of molestation of a minor girl have been made against the famous farmer leader Ravi Azad. The allegation is that Ravi Azad coaxed the girl and made her sit in the car and then molested her and did wrong things. In the complaint given to the police, it was said that on the night of December 8, three youths traveling in an Innova car told the girl that Ravi Azad had called her and then tried to make her sit in the car. However, when the girl raised an alarm, they ran away. A complaint regarding this matter has been registered in Bahal police station. It should be noted that Ravi Azad was active during the farmers’ movement.
