In this sequence, Palamu district’s litterateur Harivansh Prabhat’s new ghazal collection book ‘Chhodo Baatein Phir Kabhi’ is in discussion, in which the discrepancies of the society and changing human relationships have been presented in the form of ghazals.
First attempt in Ghazal genre
Harivansh Prabhat told that this is his tenth book and this is his first attempt in the Ghazal genre. This collection includes a total of 101 ghazals, in which the growing estrangement, mutual distance, loss of sensitivity and social contradictions in today’s society have been effectively depicted. The book has been published by Swetavarna Publishers, New Delhi. The special thing is that it contains not only ghazals, but also the introduction and biography of the author, which introduces the readers to his creative journey.
The journey started in 1989
Harivansh Prabhat told that he has been fond of writing poetry since childhood. His journey in the field of literature started with his first book ‘Badhte Charan’ published in the year 1989. In that book he had prominently raised the problems of unemployment, inflation and common man. He believes that all his works till now have been based on life’s struggles, problems and their possible solutions. In the future also, he will continue to convey his feelings to the society through poetry and literature.
Has been honored with President’s Award
Harivansh Prabhat’s student life was quite a struggle. During his graduation, he used to support his expenses by giving tuitions. At the age of 25, he was selected as a government teacher in the Government High School, Chando. After this he contributed in the field of education with full devotion and honesty.
