A lawyer was arrested in Haryana for spying for Pakistan. Then during his interrogation, four more arrests were made from Punjab. Even before this, spies were arrested from Haryana, including YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra and is still in jail.

Actually, the police had arrested young lawyer Rizwan on charges of spying for Pakistan. After interrogating him, now four other accused from Punjab are being rigorously interrogated on remand. The police have increased their vigil on the people involved in anti-national activities and have also started monitoring their bank accounts. Police have so far received important evidence related to hawala funding and foreign funding worth about Rs 65 lakh from the accused detective Rizwan arrested from Noomb.
On Tuesday, SP Rajesh Kumar, in a press conference on this matter, said that a policy of zero tolerance is being adopted against those who promote anti-national and terrorist activities. A total of five accused have been arrested so far in this case. Many other suspects have been identified and their activities and bank accounts are being thoroughly investigated. The police are keeping an eye on all those who are directly or indirectly supporting such networks.
SP Nuh said that on November 25, young lawyer Rizwan, resident of Kharkhari village of Tawadu sub-division, was arrested on charges of Pakistani espionage and funding anti-national activities in Punjab through hawala. On the basis of interrogation done during remand, four other accused were arrested from Punjab. Police have registered a case under strict sections in this case. A special team is working continuously and this anti-national network has been dismantled to a great extent.
Arrests were made from Nuh earlier also
It is noteworthy that in the month of May this year also, Nuh police had arrested Tareef, resident of Kangarka village of Tawdu and Arman, resident of Rajaka village of Nagina block, on charges of Pakistani espionage. In both those cases, the chargesheet was presented in October itself. Apart from this, police sources claim that during remand, the accused young lawyer has admitted to the transaction of Rs 65 lakh. The police in the district have intensified the campaign to curb the entire network of espionage and funding and more revelations are likely to be made soon.
