Rajnath Singh News: On Defense Minister Rajnath Singh’s statement on Sindh, Major General Dhruv Katoch said that Sindh can join India if Pakistan breaks up. Katoch said that when a country breaks from within, it is not external forces but its own circumstances that lead it towards division.
New Delhi. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh’s statement related to Sindh has intensified the political and strategic discussion. Responding to this statement, Major General (Retd) Dhruv Katoch termed it as very important and said that considering the current situation of Pakistan, major geopolitical changes are possible in the future. He believes that if Pakistan collapses due to internal crises, the natural outcome could be the accession of Sindh province to India.
Speaking to IANS, Dhruv Katoch said, “I think this statement made by the Defense Minister is very important. It contains two big things. First, Pakistan is currently disintegrating badly from within. If this situation continues like this, then the possibility of division of Pakistan into many parts may increase. If Pakistan gets divided into many pieces, then it is completely possible that the Sindh province will join India.”
He clarified that India will not wage war for Sindh, rather this entire process will arise from the internal conflicts of Pakistan. According to him, due to internal instability and increasing protests in Pakistan, areas like Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa may also move towards separation and if this happens, Sindh will also follow that path.
General Katoch said, “If such a situation arises in the future that Sindh gets separated, India will welcome it. Sindh is also a part of our national anthem ‘Jana Gana Mana’. Therefore, if history repeats itself and Sindh chooses the path of joining India, it will be a symbol of our emotional and cultural unity.”
He said that the entire matter will depend on the internal stability of Pakistan. When a country breaks from within, it is not external forces but its own circumstances that lead it towards division. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh had said that when the time comes, Sindh can become a part of India, after which this topic became the center of discussion.
