Pakistan may spend crores of rupees in bombs and weapons but life has become very difficult for the common people there. The situation of inflation is such that people have to spend Rs 10,000 to buy ration for ten days.
Pakistan is a country that spends billions of dollars on nuclear weapons and military expenditure, but it has become difficult for its common citizens to even earn two square meals a day. Food inflation reached 5.53% in November 2025, slightly lower than 5.60% in the previous month, but prices of non-perishable food items like flour, rice and ghee jumped by 7.3%.
According to Trading Economics data, Pakistan’s average inflation rate is 6.10%, which has come down from the year’s high of 6.20%, but for ordinary families these figures are not just numbers, it is a matter of life and death. The clearest face of the brunt of this inflation is visible in an Instagram video. Hindu vlogger Mahir Ram, who lives in Pakistan’s Punjab province, shared a video of a simple shopping, in which he told that buying basic ration for just 10 days for a small family has now cost 10,000 Pakistani rupees (about 3,200 Indian rupees).
Life became difficult due to inflation

Mahir Ram shows the life of Hindus in Pakistan. Recently he shared a video on Instagram, in which he showed how difficult it is to buy ration in Pakistan. In the video, Mahir was seen showing the box of ration brought home, in which he mentioned the price of the goods. He also told that he had spent ten thousand rupees in purchasing ration for ten days. Surf flour and flour were kept in this box. Also, he had to spend Rs 500 for a plastic vegetable.
