Teacher job, Teacher Vacancy 2025: Direct recruitment has come out for 1649 posts of Assistant Teacher for primary schools in Uttarakhand. This is completely a government job and selection in it will be done only on the basis of merit i.e. no written examination will have to be given. Salary also in-hand is Rs 1 lakh. The application is completely offline and the last date for most of the districts is till 30 November 2025 only. Meaning now only two days are left.
Who can apply?
Only those people can apply for this recruitment who have graduation degree and have completed D.El.Ed or B.Ed. The most important condition is that it is mandatory to pass Uttarakhand TET (UTET-1). If you have not given or passed UTET then there is no use in filling the form, you will be directly rejected.
what should be the age
The minimum age to apply has been kept at 21 years and maximum age at 42 years. The age will be calculated on the basis of 1st July 2025. According to the rules of Uttarakhand government, SC, ST, OBC, disabled and ex-servicemen will also get considerable relaxation in the maximum age.
Salary and facilities
The selected teachers will get a basic salary ranging from Rs 35,400 to Rs 1,12,400 every month under Level-5 of the seventh pay scale. All facilities like DA, HRA, travel allowance, medical, NPS will be included in this. Overall, the in-hand salary will be Rs 70-80 thousand initially and will easily exceed Rs 1 lakh after a few years. The job of a government teacher is full of respect and you will get lots of holidays too.
How will the selection happen?
There will be no written examination to be selected for teacher posts. Merit will be made according to your graduation marks, D.El.Ed marks, UTET marks and category. The higher the percentage, the higher your name will be in the list. Document verification and joining will take place after the name appears in the merit list.
Keep all important documents ready
When filling the teacher’s form, attested copies of all the necessary documents have to be attached while sending the form. All mark sheets and degree certificates, D.El.Ed or B.Ed certificate, Uttarakhand TET certificate, Domicile of Uttarakhand, passport size photograph and signature should also be there. If any document is missing then the form will be rejected.
Last date is different for every district
Every district has kept its own date and it is necessary to reach the form by 5 pm. The last date of Almora district is 30 November 2025, Chamoli is also till 30 November while the last date of Bageshwar, Pithoragarh, Uttarkashi, Pauri Garhwal and Dehradun is 29 November 2025. People from Champawat, Udham Singh Nagar and Nainital can send the form till 28th November i.e. till today only. People from Tehri Garhwal have got the maximum time, they can apply till 5th December 2025. Check the date of your district and send the form accordingly.
How to apply offline?
First of all, download the official notification of your district. Print the application form given in it carefully. Fill the form neatly. Do not leave any column blank. Attach self-attested photocopies of all the necessary documents. Put the entire packet in a thick envelope and write your name, district and post name on top. Now send it through registered post or speed post to the district address given in the notification. Take a receipt from the post office. This proof will be useful. The form should reach on time. This is a good opportunity to become a government primary teacher in Uttarakhand.
