Dehradun News: A patient lost his life due to negligence of doctors in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. The family members claim that the young man lost his life due to negligence during the operation. They allege that despite the worsening of the patient’s condition, correct information was not given to the family members in time. Dehradun: An alleged case of medical negligence has come to light from Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand. Here, a young man who had come to a private hospital for operation of gall bladder stones died during treatment. After the death of the young man, angry family members created a ruckus in the premises of a private hospital in Dehradun, accusing the doctor of negligence. After this, Dehradun police detained the accused surgeon Dr KK Tamta and interrogated him.
Serious allegations from family members
During the uproar in the hospital late at night, the family members made many serious allegations against the doctors and staff. The family members claim that the young man lost his life due to negligence during the operation. They allege that despite the worsening of the patient’s condition, correct information was not given to the family members in time. The family members have also raised questions on the hospital and the doctor. As soon as information about the uproar was received, the local police reached the spot and calmed down the situation. The police have taken the body into their custody and sent it for post-mortem. Officials say that the exact cause of death will be known only after the post mortem report comes. If the investigation confirms medical negligence, then strict legal action will be taken against the concerned doctor.

Deceased’s maternal uncle Rajesh told that deceased Ajay Sonkar was suffering from stones in gall bladder and he had stomach pain. He showed the accused surgeon doctor to a private clinic. After this he was admitted to a private hospital in Raipur, Dehradun, but the young man lost his life after the operation. He says that before the operation the condition of the young man was normal, but after the operation his health suddenly started deteriorating and he died within some time.
Family members made serious allegations
Anil, brother of the deceased’s wife, told that Ajay was the only son and his wife was 7 months pregnant. Now there is no one left to run his family. Who will now support the life of his elderly parents and wife? He said that we should do something for the survival of our sister and her old in-laws. At the same time, action should be taken against the doctor and the hospital.
What does the hospital administration say?
Director of the hospital, Dr. Jainendra Kumar, Director of Primus Hospital, informed that the patient had gone to the private clinic of Dr. KK Tamta for consultation, who is our on call doctor. He operated the patient using our OT. He told that the patient died due to ventricular cardiac arrest due to sudden increase in pulse rate.
