The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has suspended Ollie Robinson from all forms of international cricket for a decade-old racist tweet. After this case, the 27-year-old fast bowler changed the privacy setting of his social media account.
New Delhi. England pacer Ollie Robinson has been suspended after his controversial tweet about a decade old surfaced. Robinson played the first Test match of his career against New Zealand and impressed but was later suspended by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB). Now he will not be able to play even the second test match of the series. After this case, Oli has changed the privacy setting of his social media account. He has ‘private’ his Twitter and Instagram accounts.
The ECB suspended Robinson from all forms of international cricket until the results of the investigation, due to tweets posted in 2012 and 2013. Oli impressed with the ball and bat in his first Test against New Zealand, which ended in a draw on Sunday.
