Sonpur division is serious on the plan to increase the number of trains at Ramdayalunagar railway station. DRM Amit Saran inspected, due to which the possibility of direct service to Deoria has increased.
Muzaffarpur. With the aim of developing Ramdayalunagar railway station of Muzaffarpur district and increasing the railway income, preparations have started to increase the number of trains here. At present, only five trains including one Intercity Express stop at this station, due to which passengers are getting limited facilities. Now Sonpur Division is seriously considering the possibilities of operating trains from this station.
There will be benefit from increasing the number of trains
Railway officials believe that with the start of operation of new trains from Ramdayalunagar station, not only will the number of passengers increase, but the utility and income of the station will also increase. Especially due to lack of direct train service between Muzaffarpur and Deoria, passengers face a lot of trouble. Currently two passenger trains are operating between Sonpur and Deoria, but no train is available for Deoria on the Muzaffarpur-Sarai section.
Rural and urban areas will get better connectivity
In such a situation, work is being done on the plan to operate trains from Ramdayalunagar station to Deoria. It is believed that if this service starts, the passenger traffic on this section will increase significantly. Especially daily commuters, employed people and students will get direct benefits from it. Along with this, people of nearby rural and urban areas will also be able to get better connectivity.
Facilities will be expanded at the station
According to railway sources, after the increase in the number of passengers, the facilities at the station can also be expanded. Possibilities of improving platforms, sheds, waiting rooms, ticket counters and other passenger facilities are also related to this. Railways plans to first increase the stoppage and operation of trains, and then strengthen the infrastructure as per the need.
Last Wednesday, DRM of Sonpur division Amit Saran had inspected the section between Ramdayalunagar to Deoria. During this, various aspects related to tracks, signals, station arrangements and operations were reviewed. The inspection is being considered an important step towards the possible expansion of trains.
