Barabanki News: Congress MP Imran Pratapgarhi took a dig at the appointment of UP BJP President Pankaj Choudhary, talked about not recognizing the contribution of Savarkar and criticized the Election Commission and the government for extending the deadline for SIR.
Not only this, Imran Pratapgarhi reacted to Amit Shah’s statement in which the Home Minister had said that the country recognized Savarkar’s contribution late. On this Imran said, “Till date I have not been able to recognize my contribution.” He said that I have also read history, but could not recognize the contribution of Savarkar.

Apart from this, Imran Pratapgarhi also cornered the Election Commission and the government on the issue of extending the time limit of SIR. He said that Congress is continuously raising this issue and until every single vote is added, it is the responsibility of the Election Commission to keep extending the deadline. He called it necessary to strengthen democracy. Speaking about common heritage, brotherhood and democratic values, from the stage of Mushaira, Imran Pratapgarhi said that literature and poetry work to unite the society.
