Namo Bharat Train Noida Gurugram Corridor: Many people commute from Noida to Gurugram daily. But, spending one and a half to two hours every day just traveling is no less than a headache. If we talk about peak hour, if there is a jam on the road then two and a half to three hours go nowhere. One can see several kilometers long jam of cars in the morning and evening. It does not take less time to travel even by metro, but now this will be a thing of the past, because now such a rapid train is going to run between the two cities at bullet speed, which will take you to Gurugram within an hour. In view of the increasing crowd in Delhi-NCR, the government is focusing on public transport. Namo Bharat train will prove to be a big step in this direction.
65 kilometer long corridor will be built
Actually, Namo Bharat train corridor is to be built between Noida-Gurugram. This will allow high speed travel between the two cities. As is currently being seen from Delhi to Meerut Namo India. After the success of Delhi-Meerut Namo Bharat Train Corridor, the government is preparing to run rapid rail on many more routes in NCR. There is a proposal to build a 65 km long NaMo Bharat Corridor between Noida and Gurugram, which will also connect Greater Noida and Faridabad. This will save wastage of time and money and eliminate the problem of traffic jams.
What are some benefits of Namo Bharat train?
- This train is part of the semi-high speed rail network.
- Will run at a maximum speed of 180 kilometers per hour.
- NaMo Bharat trains will arrive at stations every 5-7 minutes.
- There will be facilities for stay and entertainment of passengers at Namo Bharat station.

The new proposed 65 km NaMo Bharat Corridor will start from Gurugram and reach Greater Noida, passing through key points of Faridabad. Major stations on this route include- Gurugram, Sohna Road, Ballabhgarh, Faridabad Central, Badarpur Border, Sector 62 Noida, Greater Noida City Centre. Each station will have state-of-the-art facilities, such as escalators, lifts, waiting lounges, e-ticketing counters, smart card system, and state-of-the-art cameras for security. Solar powered power system will also be installed at each station, which will keep the carbon footprint of the project minimal.

NaMo Bharat train will run from IFFCO Chowk in Gurugram and cover many points in Faridabad, Noida and Greater Noida. Major stations on this route-

There will be modern facilities at every station. Such as escalators, lifts, waiting lounges, e-ticketing counters, smart card system, and state-of-the-art cameras for security. Solar powered power system will also be installed at each station, which will keep the carbon footprint of the project minimal.
At what cost is it being made?
The estimated cost of this entire corridor has been said to be Rs 15,000 crore. For this, the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has started preparing the Detailed Project Report (DPR) which is expected to be completed in the next three months.
In how many phases will the work be completed?
The first phase will be from Gurugram to Faridabad. The second phase will be from Faridabad to Noida and the third phase will be from Noida to Greater Noida City Centre. The work on the first phase is likely to start soon and it is expected that the initial portion will be operational within the next three years.
