In the film ‘Thugs of Hindostan’, the Jaunpur District Judge has issued a notice against four others, including Aamir Khan, for insulting the Mallah community.
According to reports, Jaunpur District Judge Madan Pal Singh issued notice to four other people including Bollywood actor Aamir Khan on Tuesday. The petition alleges defamation and hurt feelings, insulting the ‘Mallah’ community. The defense has been asked to present its arguments in the case on April 8 during the next hearing.
Hansraj Chaudhary, through his lawyer, had filed a complaint against the film’s producer Aditya Chopra, director Vijay Krishna, actor Aamir Khan, stating that by addressing the word ‘Mallah’ caste with the word ‘Firangi Mallah’ in the film’s trailer Was humiliated. The film was incorrectly named to increase the TRP of the film. In the film, the community is described as a thug and a Firangi. Aamir Khan has been addressed as ‘Firangi Mallah’ in the film.
