Kisan Credit Card will be available within 15 days of application
Under the scheme, any farmer can get a farmer credit card very easily by reaching the nearest bank branch. Understanding the problems of farmers, the government has issued a very simple form for KCC application. After filling it, they will get their Kisan Credit Card in just 15 days. The service fee up to Rs 3 lakh has been waived on the loan taken with this credit card. Explain that under KCC, loans up to 3 lakh rupees are available only at 7 percent interest. Not only this, farmers who return money on time also get a 3 percent discount. In other words, the farmers who repay the loan on time are getting only 4 percent interest rate.

>> To get a Kisan Credit Card go to the official site of PM Kisan Yojana pmkisan.gov.in.
>> After that download the Kisan Credit Card form.
>> You have to fill this form with the documents of your arable land, details of the crop.
>> It has to be informed that you have not made any other Kisan Credit Card from any other bank or branch.
>> If you cannot apply online then go to your nearest bank branch and complete all the formalities.

Which documents are required to apply
>> One has to give voter card, PAN card, passport, Aadhaar card, driving license as ID proof.
>> Any document submitted for ID proof will be valid for address proof.
>> KCC can be obtained from any Co-operative Bank, Regional Rural Bank (RRB).
>> KCC can also be taken from Routine Bank of India (SBI), Bank of India (BOI) and IDBI Bank (IDBI Bank).
>> National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) issues RuPay KCC.

>> Interest is paid on the loan in the KCC account at the rate of savings bank.
>> Free ATM cum Debit Card is provided for KCC card holders.
>> State Bank of India gives a debit / ATM card in the name of Kisan Card.
>> For loans up to 3 lakh rupees in KCC, interest rebate is given at the rate of 2% per annum.
>> Excess interest at the rate of 3% per year gets rebate for repaying the loan ahead of time.
>> Crop insurance coverage is available on KCC loans.
>> The amount of loan for the first year is decided on the basis of agricultural cost, post-harvest expenses and land cost.

Who can take advantage of KCC
Now KCC is not limited to farming only. Animal husbandry and fisheries can also take a loan of up to 2 lakh rupees under this. Any person connected with farming, fisheries and animal husbandry, even if he cultivates some other land, can take advantage of it. The minimum age should be 18 years and maximum 75 years. If the age of the farmer is more than 60 years, then a co-applicant will also be employed, whose age is below 60 years. After filling the farmer’s form, the bank employee will see whether you are eligible or not.

Complain with Banking Ombudsman if KCC is not received
According to RBI guidelines, the bank has to issue KCC within 15 days of application. If the card is not issued within the stipulated period then the farmers can complain to the Banking Ombudsman of the concerned area.
