Many changes in banking sector
- The rules for updating credit score will change next year. Due to this, credit score companies will have to update the data every week, which currently happens every 15 days.
- Many banks including SBI, PNB, HDFC have reduced their loan interest rates, the effect of which will be visible in the new year. There has also been a change in FD rates and its effect will also start becoming visible from January.
- Banks have also made changes in the rules related to UPI, digital payment and PAN-Aadhaar.
- Banks have now made SIM link verification more stringent on platforms like WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal.
- To avail government services and banking, it will now be necessary to have Aadhaar-PAN link, otherwise the service will not be available from the new year.
Social media and traffic rules
- The government will discuss making strict rules on social media for children below 16 years of age on the lines of Australia and Malaysia.
- Preparation to ban entry of diesel-petrol commercial vehicles in many cities.

Changes for government employees
- The 8th Pay Commission is expected to be implemented from January 1, 2026, because the effect of the 7th Pay Commission will end on December 31.
- There will be an increase in dearness allowance of central and state employees from January, due to which their salary will also increase.
- There will be a decision to increase the minimum salary of part time and daily wage laborers in states like Haryana.
What will change for farmers
- ID of farmers is being made in many states of the country including UP, which will be necessary to take installment under PM Kisan Yojana. Without this, money will not come into the account.
- Under PM Kisan Crop Insurance Scheme, now farmers will be given insurance amount even if wild animals damage their crops. For this, it will be necessary to report within 72 hours of the loss.
What will change for the common man
- A new form for filing income tax return can be issued from January, in which the details of your banking and expenses will already be filled.
- New prices of LPG i.e. cooking gas and commercial gas cylinders will be implemented from January 1.
