The investigating officials say that this ghee is not fit for consumption. In such a situation, it is important for you to know what is the difference between real and fake ghee.
Yoga Guru Ramdev Baba’s Patanjali brand is once again in the dock. Baba Ramdev’s Patanjali brand, which promotes Ayurveda across the world and claims to provide pure Ayurvedic products to the common people, has failed miserably in the ghee sample test. The investigating officials have said that it is not fit for consumption. At the same time, the District Magistrate Court has imposed fine on Patanjali company and shopkeepers.
However, Ramdev Baba has called this decision wrong. The biggest issue amidst this controversy is your health. In such a situation, it is very important for you to know that how can you check the purity of fake and real ghee yourself? So let us understand in simple words in this article –
How to identify real and fake ghee?
first way
The weight of pure ghee is very light. In such a situation, whenever you put it on water, it will start floating on top. Now to check the purity, you just have to take a glass of water and add one spoon of ghee in it. If ghee settles at the bottom of the glass then the ghee is adulterated.
second way
Melt some ghee in a vessel and put it in the refrigerator for about an hour. By doing this, pure ghee will be seen deposited in a flat form. Whereas adulterated ghee may separate into layers or it may form small lumps, which is a sign of adulterated oil.
third way
The aroma of pure ghee is very strong and natural. In such a situation, if ghee does not smell good when heated, then do not eat it. No smell or strange smell is a sign of adulteration.
remember this also
Pure ghee does not become very hard even in cold weather. On the other hand, if there is adulteration in ghee, it can freeze like coconut oil in winter, for which you will have to heat it to melt it.
