Baliya: In view of the increasing number of devotees during the Magh Mela to be held in Prayagraj, the Railway Administration has taken an important step for the convenience of the passengers. Due to which the people of Ballia district will also benefit. North Eastern Railway has announced the operation of Chhapra-Jhusi-Chhapra Magh Mela reserved special train. This special train will be operated on various selected days of January and February, which will directly benefit the devotees of Bihar and Purvanchal.
Railway Public Relations Officer Ashok Kumar said that train number 05005 will run from Chhapra and reach Jhusi via Suremanpur, Sahatwar, Ballia, Chitbargaon, Karimuddinpur, Yusufpur, Ghazipur City, Aundhihar, Varanasi City, Varanasi, Banaras, Madhosingh and Gyanpur Road. In return, train number 05006 will run from Jhusi and reach Chhapra, passing through these major stations. Passengers of stations falling on this route will get great convenience in reaching Magh Mela.
A total of 15 coaches will be installed in the train
Due to this decision of the Railway Administration, a lot of enthusiasm is being seen among the devotees of Ballia, Ghazipur and surrounding districts. A total of 15 coaches will be installed in this special train, which will include one generator cum luggage carrier, one LSLRD, six sleeper class coaches and seven air conditioned third economy class coaches.

The objective of the Railway Administration is to make the travel of devotees smooth, safe and organized during Magh Mela. The operation of the special train will not only reduce the pressure of crowd, but will also help the passengers to reach their destination on time.
