Be careful. Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh has set a record in voter list purification. 100 percent digitalization work has been completed in all four assemblies of the district – Sambhal, Chandausi, Bilari and Kundarki. Now the work of mapping of polling booths is going on at a fast pace.
Voter list purified
DM Dr. Pancia said, “This is a historic work. Sambhal has joined the select districts of the country where 100 percent digitalization of the voter list has been done. With the removal of duplicate, deceased and missing voters, the list has now become completely clean and reliable.”
Appeal to new voters
He has appealed to the new voters that those who have completed 18 years on January 1, 2026, should immediately get their names added through Form-6. The DM said that new applications are welcome and they will be added on priority. According to election office officials, such large-scale sorting of voters had not happened in the last several decades. This will increase transparency in the upcoming elections and bogus voting will be completely curbed. Sambhal once again proved that even seemingly impossible tasks are possible with strong administrative determination.
