He told that the bigger the pot in which the GG plant is planted, the more dense and attractive it becomes. The tuber of this plant is like a potato, which gradually spreads and fills the entire pot. The leaves emerging from the tuber give a dense appearance to the plant. This is a fast growing plant. If it is planted in a 12 inch pot, the entire pot gets filled within about a year.

Taking special care regarding the maintenance of GG plant, he said that giving too much water to it can be harmful. Excess water causes the plant to rot, hence irrigation should be done in less quantity only. This plant is ideal for indoor but if it is to be kept outside, then a shaded place should be chosen and it is very important to protect it from rain water.
What kind of soil is needed?
Regarding soil selection, expert Milan Nirmalkar said that light and draining soil is most suitable for GG plant. Its growth is affected in heavy or hard soil. A balanced mixture of vermicompost and cocopeat in black soil is considered best for this plant. Another great feature of this is that it does not require any kind of fertilizer.
