Patna. After the hijab issue, a big decision has been taken regarding the security arrangements of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. According to information received from sources, after inputs received from intelligence agencies, the security of the CM has been further tightened. Now only high profile and selected people will be able to get very close to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. This change in the security system has been made as a precautionary measure, so that any possible danger can be averted in time.
According to sources, in recent times, threatening messages and objectionable comments regarding the Chief Minister had surfaced through social media. After this, the intelligence agencies submitted their report to the government, in which there is a possibility of anti-social and criminal elements causing harm to the Chief Minister after the hijab controversy. Based on this input, security agencies have been put on alert mode.
SSG security cover will be tighter than before
DGP and ADG SSG (Special Security Group) have held a high level review meeting regarding the security of the Chief Minister. In this meeting, a detailed discussion was held regarding the security arrangements during the Chief Minister’s programs, movement and public relations. It has been decided that the security cover of SSG will be tighter than before and any kind of negligence will not be tolerated.
Only selected people will be able to go close to CM
Along with this, special instructions have also been given to SSP and SP of all the districts of the state. It has been asked to exercise extra vigilance in sensitive areas, keep a close watch on suspicious activities and intensify social media monitoring. Now the security check and pass system will be further strengthened at the Chief Minister’s program venues. Right now only high profile and selected people will be allowed to go close to CM Nitish Kumar.
