Benefits of milk and how to drink it
There is difficulty in sleeping due to increase in Vata in winter season. For this, mix turmeric or nutmeg in milk. This increases melatonin and serotonin in the body and reduces stress in the mind and brain. One gets deep sleep and the body works with double the energy in the morning.
Consumption of milk strengthens bones and joints. Milk also contains calcium, protein, and small amounts of vitamin D, which provides new energy to muscles and bones. Also provides relief from shoulder and back pain. For this, taking a pinch of celery mixed with milk will provide relief.
Milk also works to bring glow to the skin. Consuming milk increases vigor on the face. For this, mix saffron in milk. This increases collagen, reduces dryness and makes the skin soft.
