NIA team entered the house by jumping the wall, searched every corner of the house for five hours

Patna/Khagaria. In the early hours of Sunday (November 30) in Khagaria district of Bihar, the NIA team raided the house of a retired postmaster in Saidpur village of Mansi police station area. During the raid, the team searched everywhere in the house and seized a mobile phone. Retired postmaster Mohammad Abdul Hadi has been called for questioning in Patna on 1 December. According to the police and local sources, the NIA team forcibly opened the gate of the house by scaling the wall, a thorough search was carried out with metal detectors and every corner of the house was examined. During this time all the family members were made to stand outside, the house was surrounded from all sides.

It is said that the NIA team reached Khagaria from Patna at around 3 am in the morning. About 20-25 soldiers who came in four-five vehicles surrounded the house from all sides. There was silence in Saidpur village. When the gate of the house was closed, the team’s security personnel climbed the 7 feet high wall and entered inside. Then opened the main gate and introduced himself to Abdul Hadi. Hadi said, the team searched every corner of the house. Checked floors, walls and items with metal detectors. All the belongings of my family were turned upside down. The raid lasted for about 5 hours and the team remained there till 8 in the morning.

Family of retired postmaster in shock

Mansi police station in-charge confirmed that the NIA team was officially involved in the operation. However, he did not tell which case the raid was related to. Some sources say that this raid may be related to the fake currency case, but at present the administration has not given any official confirmation on this. At the same time, there was some discussion that the action was related to the recent bomb blast case in Delhi. The raid lasted for about five hours and after that the team said that it would be called to Patna on December 1 for further investigation.

There is commotion in the area, families and people are in panic

Abdul Hadi says that he is unable to understand what was the basis of this sudden raid. Early in the morning, when he was sleeping, the gate was opened by jumping over the wall and then the house was searched. Each one was seen the same. At the same time, the police has not yet told what information the NIA had received for the search, or on the basis of which allegations the raid was conducted.

A case related to a suspect, fake currency or something else?

Some local sources are saying that this raid was related to fake currency or nexus of criminal gang. Last time too, arms smuggling and criminals were arrested in Mansi police station area of Khagaria. But, till now there is no information about any arrest in this case nor has the name of any accused been revealed.

Panic in the village, police and family silent and some questions

This raid has raised many questions as to what information did the NIA team get for the raid and how reliable was it? A mobile phone was seized, was it necessary for investigation, or just a technical weapon? If the matter is related to fake currency or criminals then why has no arrest or charge sheet been made yet?
