Bareilly: In Bareilly, the fake letter which created an uproar in the city has now been caught by the police. Let us tell you that as soon as the police got information about this controversial letter, they immediately took action against it and searched Nadeem Khan, an IMC leader close to Maulana Taukir and the mastermind of Bareilly Rebellion, and recovered the letter. After this, the police has taken mastermind Nadeem Khan on remand.
After this big revelation by the police, the layers of the riot conspiracy have started being revealed one by one. Police said that the letter recovered during the investigation is the same one which was made viral on social media and instigated people to gather at one place. By making this letter viral, an attempt was made to instigate people and spoil the atmosphere of Bareilly.
Nadeem Khan in police remand
In this riot case in Bareilly, the police took major action and took Nadeem Khan on police remand for four hours. Nadeem Khan is currently detained in Bareilly Central Jail-2. The court granted limited period remand on the demand of the police, after which the police station’s investigator took him in his custody and started interrogating him.
According to the police, a letter was made viral before the riots broke out on the morning of 26 September. Investigation has revealed that this letter was spread on social media with fake signatures. In the letter, it was said that the appeal for gathering already announced had been withdrawn, due to which there was confusion among the people and the situation kept worsening. Police believe that people were instigated by taking advantage of this confusion.
Evidence recovered from Nadeem’s house
During the investigation, the police have recovered important evidence from Nadeem Khan’s house. This recovery was done on the behest of Nazim, in which the same letter that went viral is said to be included. Police say that the source of this letter, the process of its preparation and the role of other people involved in making it viral are being thoroughly investigated.
Violence took place on 26 September
