New Delhi. There is relief news for the passengers going from Delhi to many cities of Rajasthan. Indian Railways is starting a new train from Saturday, which will run between Delhi and Jaisalmer. It will stop at many cities of Haryana and Rajasthan. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, Culture and Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat will flag off Shakurbasti (Delhi) – Jaisalmer – Shakurbasti (Delhi) ‘Jaisalmer Express’.
Jaisalmer-Shakurbasti (Delhi) one-way inaugural special express train service will depart from Jaisalmer at 11.20 am on Saturday, November 29 and reach Shakurbasti (Delhi) at 04.30 am the next day. This train will stop at Ashapura Gomat, Ramdevra, Phalodi, Marwar Lohawat, Osian, Jodhpur, Medta Road, Degana, Makrana, Kuchaman City, Nawan City, Phulera, Jaipur, Dausa, Alwar, Rewari, Gurgaon and Delhi Cantt stations en route. This train will have a total of 16 coaches including one first AC, one second AC, two third AC, six second sleeper, four ordinary class, one power car and one guard compartment.

Regular train number 12249, Shakurbasti (Delhi) – Jaisalmer daily superfast express train service will depart from Jodhpur at 17.10 hrs daily from December 1 and reach Jaisalmer at 09.00 hrs the next day. Similarly, train 12250, Jaisalmer-Shakurbasti (Delhi) superfast express train service will depart from Jaisalmer daily from 02 December at 17.00 hrs and will reach Shakurbasti at 09.30 hrs the next day. On the way, this train will stop at Delhi Cantt, Gurgaon, Rewari, Alwar, Dausa, Jaipur, Phulera, Nawan City, Kuchaman City, Makrana, Degana, Medta Road, Jodhpur, Osian, Marwar Lohawat, Phalodi, Ramdevra and Ashapur Gomat stations. There was a long standing demand of the local people, keeping this in mind the Railways has decided to run a new train. After the running of this train, people in the surrounding areas will be relieved.
