Such a sight was seen at Threthal Nala near Pinjri Dangdaru, south of Kishtwar in Jammu and Kashmir. Where a huge amount of snow was seen flowing due to the breaking of the glacier. Although it is a matter of relief that no loss of life has been reported due to this avalanche, the Dachhan-Kishtwar road has been closed due to the avalanche.
Let us tell you that an avalanche warning has been issued for 10 districts of Jammu and Kashmir. This warning has been issued for places where there has been moderate to heavy snowfall in the last 48 hours. The State Disaster Management Authority (SDMA) has issued an avalanche warning of “high danger” for Bandipora and Kupwara districts of north Kashmir, while “moderate danger” for Baramulla and Ganderbal districts.
SDMA officials said, “There is a possibility of avalanches in the area above 2,000 meters in Bandipora and Kupwara districts in the next 24 hours with a high level of danger.” There is a possibility of avalanches with moderate danger in the area above 2,000 meters. “He said that in Anantnag, Doda, Kishtwar, Kulgam, Poonch and Ramban, there is also a “low danger” in areas above 2,000 meters above sea level. There is a possibility of avalanche.

Officials said people living in these areas have been advised to exercise caution and avoid avalanche-prone areas.
On Thursday, two laborers from Kishtwar were killed in an avalanche at the site of a construction company in Ganderbal in Sonamarg district.
In the last 48 hours, there has been moderate to heavy snowfall in the higher reaches of Kashmir. While snowfall started in the plains of the valley from Friday morning.
