However, the absence of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and his deputy Tejashwi Yadav in this rally caught everyone’s attention.
Grand alliance without Nitish and Tejashwi?
Nitish Kumar broke away from the NDA with the intention of toppling Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government at the Centre. However, he has not been given due importance so far by KCR or Rahul Gandhi, who is on Bharat Jodo Yatra. At the same time, it has been learned from reliable sources that KCR did not send invitation to JDU for anti-BJP rally in Khammam.
Sources close to the Chief Minister’s Office said that Nitish Kumar did not receive an invitation to attend the meeting and now after the Samadhan Yatra is over, the Bihar Chief Minister will soon decide on the next step.

Second opposition leader in the footsteps of Nitish
Bihar CM Nitish Kumar told reporters in Buxar, ‘I had started the idea of forming a front against the NDA. It is good to see that what I started, others are now following it.
Not only JDU, but Rashtriya Janata Dal also did not receive any invitation from KCR, due to which pessimism was expressed about the future of a possible Third Front. RJD spokesperson Ejaz Ahmed told that his party has not received any invitation from KCR.
Lalu likes Rahul as the leader of the opposition
RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar believe that the opposition front can be woven only around the axis of the Congress. At the time of alliance between RJD-JDU in Bihar, it was known that Lalu Prasad had a meeting with top Congress officials in Delhi.
Sources close to Lalu revealed that he is willing to support Rahul Gandhi in the race for the post of Prime Minister. On the other hand, the Gandhi family is also on a nationwide campaign to rejuvenate the image of the Congress party.

KCR, on the other hand, is uncomfortable going with the Congress as both the parties are rivals in Telangana. Vijay Kumar Sinha, Leader of the Opposition in the Bihar Legislative Assembly, says that the Third Front has no future, as it is riddled with many internal contradictions. He said, “There are many claimants (one pomegranate, hundred sick) for the PM’s chair.”
Bihar’s senior minister Vijay Choudhary, reacting in a Tanjia tone, said how can an alliance be possible without him? He says, ‘Everyone is trying their best, but the effort should be done sincerely. The question is to bring all the parties together, if all of them come together then only the chariot of BJP can be stopped.
It is also important to mention here that during his visit to Bihar in September 2022, KCR was about to announce Nitish Kumar as the choice of the opposition for the post of PM. However, he was stopped midway, as a result of which the meeting between the two chief ministers came to an abrupt end.
