Dr. Chetan Sharma, senior Ayurveda expert of Sarvodaya Hospital Faridabad advises to adopt this remedy. They believe that the soluble fiber present in lady’s finger slows down the absorption of sugar in the body, due to which the blood sugar remains stable.
Only two things are needed to make this remedy: two pieces of lady’s finger and a glass of clean water. While cutting ladyfinger, the sticky juice present in it comes out, which is considered helpful in controlling diabetes.

Before sleeping at night, add two chopped lady’s fingers to a glass of water and cover it. Throughout the night, the juice and fiber of okra dissolves in water, making it ready to be consumed in the morning.
First thing in the morning, filter this water and drink it on an empty stomach. Remove the ladyfinger pieces. If this is done daily, the sugar level in the body gradually becomes balanced and the stomach also feels light.
Okra has a good amount of soluble fiber, which does not allow the sugar produced from food to dissolve rapidly in the blood. This reduces the problem of sudden increase in sugar after meals and provides relief to the body in a natural way.
