Carrot-Sesame Laddu Recipe: The demand for Carrot-Sesame Laddu has increased rapidly in Nagaur during winter. Due to steaming, the carrots not only become soft but also become sweeter in their natural taste. After this, the steamed carrots are mashed and made into a smooth paste. A soft dough is prepared by mixing two spoons of rice flour in it, which easily holds the shape of laddu.

Now small round laddus are made from this kneaded dough. Each laddu is dipped in a little water and then coated with a rich layer of white sesame seeds. This coating not only enhances the taste but also gives a desi and attractive look to the laddu. After this, a thick solution is prepared by melting jaggery in the pan. Now these sesame coated laddus are put in jaggery solution and mixed well so that each laddu gets coated with jaggery. And look… hot, soft and aromatic carrot-sesame laddus are ready.
