Swami Vivekananda birth anniversary: Swami Vivekananda on 12 January every year (Swami Vivekananda) National Youth Day on the birth anniversary of (National Youth Day) celebrated as. This day is also called special because National Youth Day Dedicated to youth. India is called the country of youth. Swami Vivekananda has always been a source of inspiration for the youth. He was an Indian philosopher and reformer. He was also known for preaching religious tolerance and linking Indian spirituality with Western material progress.
In 1984, the Government of India declared 12 January as National Youth Day. (National Youth Day) As they believe that it is a great way to awaken and inspire the eternal energy of the youth which will result in the prosperity of the entire country. Swami Vivekananda saw hope for the country in every child as he believed that children and youth could bring about social change with “iron muscles” and “steel nerves”.
Become a monk at the age of 25
Swami Vivekananda was born on 12 January 1863 in Kolkata. (Kolkata) Happened in. His real name was Narendranath Dutt. Swamiji’s father was a lawyer in the Calcutta High Court. His grandfather Durgacharan Dutt was a scholar of Sanskrit and Persian languages and became a monk at the age of 25. From an early age, Narendranath Dutt was interested in spirituality. Despite being perfect in every way in his life, at the age of 25, he renounced worldly attachment and became a sanyasi after being influenced by his guru. After this his name was changed to Vivekananda. He illuminated the name of India abroad, his speeches are still remembered by the people. By roaming around the country and abroad, he established the name of India in the whole world.
In India, many states organize events to celebrate this day. Many government organizations participate in and plan programs for the National Youth Day. An important event for 12th January is the National Youth Festival where people from all over the country gather and participate in cultural and educational activities to promote unity and innovation among them. This year, the festival will take place in Puducherry over a period of 5 days, from January 12 to 16.

It will be organized in four phases which include a youth summit, indigenous sports awareness, yoga and cultural events. PM Modi will inaugurate the five-day festival of the 25th National Youth Day through video conferencing. He will address the gathering on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda.
