The report states that it was renovated from a storeroom built under the stairs of a three-storey house in a village in the city’s Qingpu district. The two-window studio comprises a small single bed on one side and a kitchen and toilet on the other, the report said. It also has a shower attachment for washing machine, hot water and kitchen faucet. Compared to this mini flat, neighboring flats are available on rent for Rs 12,000.
