The drug game in Delhi-NCR had spread such a trap that no one had even imagined. A flat of a girl from Nagaland, a posh building in Chhatarpur, Shaheen Bagh-Jamia connection and on top of that, a syndicate extending to Dubai. But the joint action of NCB and Delhi Police Special Cell (Counter Intelligence) completely exposed this international synthetic drugs cartel. This matter is no less than a web series. Dealers in India, Bosses abroad, Network in the heart of Delhi and Goods supplied from Porter Rider! And the person who was in charge of this entire operation was not a big gangster, but just 25 year old Shane Waris, who was roaming around in Noida as a sales manager and secretly running a drug game worth crores.
The name of the person caught by NCB as soon as he landed at Delhi airport on the morning of 20 November 2025 is Shane Waris (aka Shane Barish). He looks very normal and calm, but his mind runs a complete international drug network. He is originally a resident of Mangrauli village of Amroha, Uttar Pradesh, who was living in a rented house in Noida Sector-5 for the last few months. Through fake SIM card, WhatsApp, Zangi and other secure apps, he got continuous encrypted communication from Dubai. Sitting in Delhi, he used to manage the delivery, pickup and storage of synthetic drugs at the behest of foreign operatives. As soon as the heir was arrested, a name came up during his interrogation which made the case more shocking. The heir connection of Esther Kinimi, who hails from Nagaland, came to light.
‘Secret Drug Transfer’
During interrogation, Shane Waris made a shocking revelation that it was Esther Kinimi who had recently given him a consignment. She did not come forward herself but instead handed over the drugs to the rider through delivery apps like Porter. Meaning, a simple looking parcel from outside, methamphetamine worth crores from inside! After this the NCB team immediately came into action. In the dark of night, the team reached the location as if on a mission. Chhatarpur Enclave Phase-2, Jain House, 4th Floor, House No. 402. As soon as the flat was opened, the eyes of the officers were wide open.
Death items in the flat
As soon as the door of the flat was broken, the scene in front was no less than a gangster’s lab. 328.54 kg of methamphetamine, its market value is said to be in billions. This consignment was recovered from the flat of this girl from Nagaland. That flat was being used as a temporary storage point. NCB suspects that this is not just one location, but is part of a larger network spread across Delhi, in which locations like Jamia Nagar, Shaheen Bagh, and Okhla were being used for communication and co-ordination. That means, many micro units working like ‘sleeping cells’ were ready in Delhi, which were storing and transferring drugs in different parts.
Boss abroad, operator in India
Investigation revealed that Shane Waris was working only as an operator in India. The real game was going on from Dubai. Sitting there, the foreign boss used to decide the location. Used to send delivery point. Used to send decoded messages through apps and kept an eye on every movement of drugs in India. After the arrest of Waris, NCB has found many such chats in which code words, maps, and secret routes were shared. Investigation has also revealed that this syndicate was not limited to Delhi only. Its wires extended to Manipur, Nagaland, Assam, and Nepal borders.
