N Chandrasekharan said – many categories will join Tata Group’s Super App including cars, flights, hotels

Construction of Super App under Tata Digital
The Tata group is building a super app under the newly created Tata Digital. This is the group’s ambitious plan for e-commerce. The group wants to buy stakes in online grocery company BigBasket and e-pharmacy chain 1mg. However, Tata and BigBasket have not released an official statement on the matter.

We are trying to give the necessary products and service to the consumers. It is not necessarily only the Tata brand, but it is an open architecture. We will have a strong loyalty program, payment engine, financial products and other categories.

Super app launch date not decided

When asked about the launch time of the Super App, Chandrasekharan refused to give the date. However, he said that the group intends to make consumers’ lives easier through the Super App.

Chandrasekaran said, “The group has a very large number of consumers. He loves the brand and wants to do business with the group. But we need to give them such products and services that not only fulfill their needs but also make their life simple. ”
