Because the sages and saints of Ayodhya have also now become vocal about the name of Islamic Chowk intersection in Ayodhya. Mahant Raju Das of Hanumangarhi in Ramnagari Ayodhya has once again created a new political and social controversy by giving a controversial statement. Mahant has raised the demand to change some places, markets and name plates present in Ayodhya city and has appealed to the administration to take action by linking it to Sanatani identity.
Mahant Raju Das claimed that the areas around Ram temple including Kajiana area and Urdu Bazaar, Kaniganj to name a few. This name is not in accordance with ‘Sanatan tradition’. Raju Das said that a religious city like Ayodhya is a city of monasteries and temples. In such a situation, the names of public places here should also be traditionally religious. He has demanded the administration to replace these names with names like Ram, Parshuram and Mahavir.
Mahant also appealed to his supporters and local citizens to raise their voice on this issue. He said that if the government and administration do not take steps in this direction within 15 days, then he himself will start a campaign to remove the boards installed in the city. After the statement came out, the debate has intensified at the local level.
Mahant Raju Das of Hanumangarhi said that what is the use of Islam in the city of Ram. Just as Kajiyana Mohalla is situated right in front of the Ram temple of Ayodhya. Like Urdu Bazaar, Babu Bazaar and many other localities with Islamic names are situated here. We request the government administration. With immediate effect all the names should be removed and added to Sanatani name. It should be done with immediate effect in the name of Ram, in the name of Parashuram, in the name of Mahavir, in the name of Lord Buddha, in the name of Ram family.
Giving a controversial statement, Raju Das said that the people of Ayodhya are with us and there is an appeal to the people of Ayodhya that we give 15 days time to the government and administration people. If the administration does not take this into consideration and does not do this work, then we will remove and demolish the boards wherever they are installed. Will write Sanatani name there and put it. I appeal to all Hindus and Ayodhya residents to do this work in future.
A grand temple of Lord Ram has been built after 500 years. Sanatan was attacked for 500 years.
