New Delhi. Alleged links with terrorists sitting in Canada and Pakistan have come to the fore in the case of a man being murdered in Delhi and his body being cut into six pieces and thrown away. The murder incident was carried out in ISIS style. In the information received from the Delhi Police, two people with previous criminal records had confessed to beheading a person and had sent the video to ‘please’ their bosses. According to the police, the accused wanted to show their bosses that they were capable of killing, so they decided to kill a man in ‘ISIS style’. Sohail is currently associated with Pakistan’s ISI, while Jagjit is related to Arshdeep Singh Gill, a terrorist sitting in Canada.
Delhi Police’s Anti Terror Special Cell has found traces of terrorism in this case, where a body chopped into six pieces was found last month at Bhalswa Dairy in outer North Delhi. The victim appears to be a drug addict, but his identity is not clear. According to sources, both the accused had sent the video of the murder to their alleged bosses. One of the accused Sohail, who has links with a terrorist organization, was arrested from Jammu and Kashmir and was shifted to a jail in Delhi.
In Delhi, he met Naushad, 56, who had been imprisoned for murder in the early 1990s. It was in jail where Sohail was radicalized. Naushad also managed to come out of jail after Sohail was released in 2013, but was arrested in 2020 in an extortion case. The two were in touch after Naushad was released from jail last year. According to the police, Sohail had also met Mohammed Arif, accused in the 2000 Red Fort attack, in jail. Sohail is currently associated with Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI). Investigating officials also said Naushad met Jagjit Singh, who is linked to Canada-based Arshdeep Singh Gill alias Arsh Dalla, in 2018 under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act.
