Uttar Pradesh SIR: The SIR process is progressing rapidly in Uttar Pradesh. Regarding this, Mughalsarai BJP MLA Ramesh Jaiswal conducted door-to-door inspection to know the ground reality. After this he reached the center built at Jaiswal Inter College, where he talked to the Booth Level Officers (BLO).
Chandauli: BJP MLA Ramesh Jaiswal appeared ready regarding the SIR campaign being run on the instructions of the Chief Minister in Mughalsarai of the district. He conducted door-to-door inspections to know the ground reality of the campaign. Actually, the MLA knocked on the doors of people’s houses and took information from them about filling the SIR form. After this he reached the center built at Jaiswal Inter College, where he talked to the Booth Level Officers (BLO).
BLO informed about the problems
The BLO informed the MLA about some problems related to the campaign. The MLA requested him to complete the process with a calm mind and without stress. He assured that the problems will be resolved and no one will be allowed to face any problem. MLA Ramesh Jaiswal said that this campaign is related to filling the forms by matching them with the voter list of 2003. The MLA claimed that more than 80 percent of the SIR work has been completed in his assembly constituency. He has set a target of completing 100% work.
Last date of SIR is 11th December
Let us tell you that the last date for Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of voter list in UP is 11th December. Lakhs of voters in the state have still not been able to fill the SIR form. A question is arising in the minds of people that if they are not able to fill the form within the stipulated time limit, will their name disappear from the voter list? Will a fine also have to be deposited to get the name added to the voter list?
No penalty will be imposed for not filling the form
If your SIR form is not submitted by the prescribed deadline of 11th December in UP, then do not worry. By being alert you can get your name added to the voter list. The Election Commission has made it clear that no fine or legal penalty will be imposed for not filling the form.
