MRF Dividend: MRF company, famous among tire manufacturing companies, announced its September quarter i.e. second quarter results and in this quarter, the net profit jumped by 12 percent to Rs 526 crore as compared to last year. In the same quarter last year, the company had earned Rs 471 crore. What’s more, the company has also given the gift of dividend to its shareholders. MRF Company has given this dividend for the financial year 2025-26. In this, the face value of each share is Rs 10 and Rs 3 means 30 percent dividend. This dividend will come to the accounts of the shareholders after December 5 and the record date for this has been kept as November 21. Those shareholders who have shares on November 21, will get this money. After the declaration of this dividend, suppose if a person has 10 shares of MRF, then he will get a total dividend of 10 shares × Rs 3 per share = Rs 30.
How much dividend has MRF given earlier?
The dividend money will come to the shareholders’ accounts on or after December 5. However, this is not the first time that MRF has given dividend to its shareholders. In July this year, the company had given full Rs 229 per share as final dividend, and in February 2024 and November 2024 also gave an interim dividend of Rs 3-3 per share. This means that the total dividend in the year reached close to Rs 235 per share, which is a good return for an expensive stock like MRF.
Income from company operations
The company’s income from operations i.e. sales increased by 7.2 percent to Rs 7379 crore in the September quarter. Last year it was Rs 6881 crore. Total income also reached Rs 7487 crore, which was Rs 6994 crore last year. Expenses have also increased, by about 7 percent to Rs. 6788 crores, but due to higher income, profits have shone. The company’s EBITA i.e. profit before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization was Rs 1234 crore and the margin reached 16.7 percent.
Last year the margin was 16.4 percent. Meaning the company maintained a good profit margin by controlling expenses. Earning per share i.e. EPS also increased to Rs 1239, which was Rs 1110 last year. Every share earned more, this is a very good thing for investors.
The company said that the record date for dividend has been kept as 21st November, that is, only those who hold shares till that day will get the benefit. The money will come into the accounts on or after December 5. Well, this is not the first time that MRF has made its shareholders happy.
