Siwan News: Something amazing happened in Siwan district of Bihar. MP, MLA and a police officer received a threatening call from the same number. The caller has demanded extortion of Rs 10 lakh from everyone.
Siwan: There was panic in Bihar’s Siwan district after MP, MLA and police officer received a threatening call. The police department immediately started searching for the accused. On Sunday, NDA MP Vijayalakshmi Devi and JDU MLA from Barharia Indradev Singh Kushwaha were threatened with death by a call from an unknown number. The person making the threat demanded extortion of Rs 10 lakh from both the public representatives over the phone. Threatened to take life if money is not paid.
On behalf of MP Vijayalakshmi Devi, her representative Manoranjan Kumar Srivastava has lodged a written complaint at Mairwa police station. Meanwhile, MLA Indradev Singh Kushwaha has also filed an application in Badharia police station giving information about the threat call. Both the public representatives told that the caller described himself as very powerful and was continuously demanding money in a threatening tone. The thing to note is that a police officer was also threatened from the same number from which the MP and MLA were threatened. Due to this, concern has also increased among police officers.

Siwan SP Vikram Sihal has confirmed the matter. He told that threatening calls were made from the same mobile number. Police have identified that number and its user. SP said that the accused will be arrested very soon. In the preliminary investigation, the police also suspect that the person making the threat may be a mischievous element or a local criminal, who may have made the call without thinking with the intention of doing some mischief or showing dominance.

SP says that the identity of the callers has almost been confirmed and the team is continuously raiding. The police is investigating the call location and number activity along with technical investigation. There is a possibility of arrest soon. There is an atmosphere of panic in the area after the incident. Local people are also surprised as to who had the courage to openly threaten important persons like MP, MLA and police officer. At present the police is investigating the matter in depth.
