Cancer is a rapidly increasing disease in India due to which thousands of people have to face premature death. Now a new report has revealed a frightening picture of the capital Delhi. Lung cancer cases also increased in women

In the last few years, there has been awareness about cervical cancer in the society in which women get themselves tested for it on time. Its result has also come out. According to the report, there were 741 cases of cervical cancer among women in 2023, which reduced to 716 in 2024 and further reduced to 692 in 2025. Due to this, a year-on-year decline of about 3.4 percent was recorded in both the years. Oral cancer saw the fastest increase in men, followed by lung cancer, with cases increasing from 1,668 in 2023 to 1,814 in 2025. how to avoid cancer
When we asked Dr. Shyam Aggarwal, Chairman of the Cancer Department at Sir Gangaram Hospital, New Delhi, what is the best way to prevent cancer, he said that many cases of cancer can be avoided by being alert. We may not be able to be that successful in preventing cancer from occurring, but when it grows in the body, with early detection and understanding, it can be treated 100% and can also become cancer free. To avoid this, first of all correct your eating habits. The more you eat natural things and the more you avoid external and artificial things, the more you will be protected from cancer. For example, avoid processed foods like alcohol, cigarettes, packaged foods, fried foods, beverages, pizza, burgers, cheese, butter etc. Instead of these, consume food made from whole grains, fruits, flowers, seeds, dry fruits etc. Get enough sleep. Reduce stress and drink enough water. Walk daily, exercise and be happy. This is the way to avoid cancer.
