We have brought for you a super easy recipe for making Moong Dal Laddu, which is made quickly and uses high protein, fiber and good fat. So let us know the easy way to make it.
Ingredients:
1 cup split yellow moong dal
½ cup gum (edible gum)
1 tablespoon ghee (optional, without ghee will also work)
2 tbsp almonds
2 tbsp walnuts
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
1 cup makhana (fox nuts)
½ tsp dry ginger powder
½ tsp turmeric powder
½ tsp cardamom powder
½ cup deseeded dates
Delicious moong dal laddus.
Method of preparation-
First of all, fry the moong dal in air fryer or pan for 3 minutes until it becomes light golden and aromatic. Similarly, roast almonds, walnuts, sesame seeds and makhana and keep them aside. After it cools down, prepare thick powder of moong dal and nuts. Fry the gum in an air fryer or in a pan until puffed and add it to the nut mixture.
Now add dates in ghee and cook on low flame for 1 minute, then add dry ginger, turmeric and cardamom powder to it. Let the mixture cool slightly and then mash with hands or mixer. Mix it with moong dal powder and gum-nut mixture. If the mixture seems dry then add some hot milk and knead it.
While the mixture is still hot, make small laddus and let it cool completely. These laddus are not only delicious, but are also high in protein and low in fat. Eat them with turmeric milk or serve them as a healthy snack. They remain safe for up to a week when stored in an airtight container, and can remain fresh for a long time when stored in the refrigerator.
