Sultanpur News: Ashutosh Biswas, toll manager of Purvanchal Expressway, has been accused of making private videos of couples by misusing CCTV and extorting illegal money. He has been terminated. The manager extorted lakhs of rupees from many people by blackmailing them.
Sultanpur. Serious allegations have been made against Ashutosh Biswas, manager of ‘Entry Traffic Management System’ (ATMS) at the toll plaza located in Haliyapur of Purvanchal Expressway. He is accused of misusing the CCTV cameras installed at the toll plaza, blackmailing people and making illegal extortion. However, after the matter came to light, the toll manager has been terminated.
Used to capture the couple’s private moments
The manager is also accused that if any young man or woman was seen on camera making love, he would make a video of them and reach the spot. After this he used to extort money from them by blackmailing them. Similarly, Rs 10,000 was recovered from a youth of Milkipur (Ayodhya). This incident happened two months ago and is available in the CCTV footage of the toll.
Recovery from bribe taking policemen also
In another incident, in the case of a truck driver and woman near Milestone 144 of the expressway, the manager made a video of the patrolling policemen collecting money. It is alleged that the manager also collected Rs 2,000 from the police. This incident happened several months ago. Last month, on 25th October, another serious incident came to light. A newly married young man from Lucknow was going from Azamgarh to Lucknow with his wife in his car. The young man was with his wife after stopping the car near Milestone 93 in Baldirai police station area. Ashutosh made a video of this and reached the spot and threatened to make it viral.
Recovery of Rs 32000 from newly married couple
According to sources, the manager collected Rs 32,000 from the youth and later made the video viral on social media. The complainants allege that the manager was extorting lakhs in this manner. Not only this, when any vehicle met with an accident on the expressway, he also used to extract illegal money from them by extracting the number of the vehicle that ran away.
