The hustle and bustle regarding the admission process for the new session has intensified in Jamshedpur. In such a situation, the worries of parents have also increased a lot. Selection will be done through lottery from January 5 to January 17.
The process of admission to nursery and entry classes in private schools for the education session 2026-27 in Jamshedpur has now reached its crucial stage. The curiosity of parents regarding admission in prestigious private schools of the city is increasing day by day. This time too, children are being selected through a completely transparent lottery system under ‘Mission Admission’ run by the Education Department. As per the schedule, all the schools have to complete the lottery process between January 5 and January 17.
In this sequence, till now 20 private schools of Jamshedpur have announced their respective lottery dates. At the same time, the education department has given the last chance till December 24 to those schools which have not declared the date yet. The department has a clear instruction that the lottery date should be made public in any case within the stipulated time limit, so that parents do not face any kind of confusion.
The statistics regarding the admission process are also shocking. Till now, after sorting the applications for admission in private schools, more than 4 thousand applications have been found valid. A large number of applications have also been canceled due to non-fulfillment of age limit, errors in documents and violation of rules. The Education Department estimates that by the time it reaches the final stage, the total number of applications may exceed 6 thousand. This is the reason that while there is hope among parents regarding the lottery, there is also clearly visible concern about not getting selected.
