Ingredients for making Methi Thepla
Wheat flour – 2 cups
Fenugreek leaves – 1 cup
Curd – 1/2 cup
Besan – 1/4 cup
Sesame – 1 tsp Sesame
Ajwain – 1/2 tsp
Ginger grated – 1 inch
Kashmiri red chili – 1/2 tsp
Turmeric – 1/4 tsp
Green chopped chili – 1

How to make Fenugreek Thepla
To make Methi Thepla, first put 2 cups of wheat flour in a big bowl. Add 1/4 cup gram flour to it. Now mix both well. Now add red chili powder, carom seeds, sesame seeds, turmeric and salt as per taste and mix it. After this add chopped green chilies and grated ginger and mix it. Wash the fenugreek leaves thoroughly and chop them finely. Now add these leaves to the flour mixture and mix. Keep in mind that the fenugreek leaves should be mixed well with the flour.
Now add 1/2 cup curd to this mixture. Using curd will remove the bitterness in thepla. Along with this, the taste of theplas will also increase. Now add water little by little and knead the dough. If you want, you can also knead the dough with curd water. Knead the dough soft so that theplas can be made easily. You can also add 2 teaspoons of oil to make the dough soft.

After kneading the dough, make balls out of it and roll it like a chapati or paratha. Now put the tawa on the gas and cook the thepla on it. Now bake thepla like paratha from both the sides and apply oil or ghee in it. In this way prepare theplas of all the balls. Your delicious Methi Thepla is ready. It can be served with curd or pickle.
